Jason Bryant grew up in Pasadena, Texas. His grandfather Bill Norman owned a feed store "Norman Feed and Hardware" in South Houston for over 30 years. Jason spent many summers hanging out at the feed store helping clean stalls that were rented and loading feed and hay. Jason participated in 4-H and also in FFA when he was in high school. Jason was active in showing animals, he showed pigs, lambs, chickens, fryer rabbits and a steer. In 1989 at the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo Jason won Grand Champion with his fryer rabbits. Jason was very active in his FFA chapter at Sam Rayburn High School. He participated in livestock and dairy judging, and was chapter vice president his junior year and chapter president his senior year.
Jason attended San Jacinto College in Pasadena after he graduated in 1990. In 1993 he transfered to Texas A & M University where he graduated with a BA in Speech Communication in 1995.
Jason did not go to church growing up. In fact it was his uncle Mark Norman that helped introduce him to Jesus Christ. Mark had always been Jason's hero and after Mark accepted Christ he called Jason one day, he said "I know you looked up to me in life and I want to tell you I am sorry that I lead you down the wrong road." God used that with the changes Mark made in his life to help Jason see his need for Jesus Christ. Jason accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior in February 1996.
Jason met his wife Elizabeth in 1997 and they were married in January of 1998. Elizabeth is the daughter of an Ag. teacher. She learned her way around a tractor and helping her dad build fence. Jason and Elizabeth went off together to Fort Worth in the Fall of 1998 so Jason could attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminay. Jason graduated in May 2001 with his Master of Divinity. It was in August of 2001 they had their first children. Hannah and Abigail. Later while serving at a church in Charlotte, Texas Lily came to bless the family in September of 2004.
Jason and Elizabeth both felt that God could use them to help start a Cowboy Church. They moved to Bell County in January of 2006. Jason and Elizabeth are excited about what God is doing at 3C Cowboy Fellowship. "We look forward to see how God is going to use us and this ministry to impact Bell County for Jesus Christ."
