How many people attend Cowboy Fellowship?
We had our first weekend service April 16, 2006 and we now consistently average between 350 and 400 people each Sunday.
A typical Cowboy Church service consists of the singing of a few inspirational country or blue grass songs, and 20 - 25 minutes of preaching. The whole service will last about 55 minutes.
Do I have to be a cowboy to attend?
Absolutely not! Although many cowboys and cowgirls attend Cowboy Fellowship, folks come from every background and walk of life. If you enjoy inspirational country music, and if you like rubbing elbows with plain down to earth people, and if you want clear simple sermons you can actually understand, you will love Cowboy Fellowship.
How should I dress at Cowboy Fellowship?
The majority of people at Cowboy Fellowship will wear boots and jeans, many will wear hats or caps, some will wear shorts, and a few will wear suits or dresses. All of these are appropriate. The bottom line: wear whatever is comfortable to you. There are no pretenses here. The person in shorts and a ball cap is as welcome as the one in a suit, and the really neat thing is, no one will notice the difference. Boots are optional! At Cowboy Fellowship we make ourselves at home with God and each other.
Does have programs for my children?
Yes! Although Cowboy Fellowship does not have a traditional Sunday School, we do have Children's Church classes for them to attend. Our classrooms are broken down by the following age groups: Nursery: up to 24 months, 2-3 year class, preK-K and 1st - 3rd grades.
